If a suspicious staining is found then to verify, a tape lift or swab sample should be obtained and sent to our certified laboratory. If no visual mold is found but the homeowner is complaining of continual hay fever-type symptoms, sinus issues, headaches, or upper respiratory symptoms then a sample of the air is required to determine the type and extent of the mold infestation that could be hiding inside walls, attic or under carpet, etc.
